Trump: ‘The war is over.  Do you understand that?’

Today, Monday Oct 13, 2025, President Donald J. Trump will convene “The Middle East Peace Plan” with 20 chiefs of state and heads of government in Egypt.

The U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and Chief of Staff Dan Cane will join President Trump on his visit to Israel briefly and then to Egypt.

In this article, I lay out President Trump’s hopes while he heads this historic visit to the Middle East, and juxtapose it with the Hamas hopes and plans.

Declassifying the October 7 Files

The return of the hostages is the only phase in the Trump Plan that can be executed in the immediate term. The Trump Plan has brought hope of a temporary peace in Gaza. The promise of releasing all the living and deceased hostages held by Hamas and its allies created the conditions for the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) to stop bombing Hamas infrastructure on October 4, 2025.

To move to phase two, will Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, and other threat groups disarm?

Hamas to ‘PAY IN HELL’ if it rejects Gaza plan, says Trump

“The ideology of Hamas and its allies as well as its patrons contradict the spirit of the Trump plan! If Qatar compels Hamas to accept, the leadership is likely to relocate to Turkey, Iran, or as the last resort to Yemen. Already Hamas has rejected Tony Blair’s role by calling him the “devil’s brother”, a term used by terrorist groups to refer to the UK.”

The 21-point peace proposal takes shape to end the fighting in Gaza

A pragmatic pathway to Palestinian statehood is in the making.

After the unconditional recognition of the Palestinian statehood by Commonwealth and continental European leaders, there is still hope of Hamas-led groups in Gaza releasing the hostages in exchange for a ceasefire.

The US special envoy Steve Witkoff and his team of mediators crafted a 21 point peace proposal after consulting with Israel and Arab governments.

The Walking Dead: Hamas Leadership

PM Netanyahu on Sep 10, 2025 said: “I say to Qatar and to all the countries that provide shelter for terrorists: either expel them or bring them to justice. Because if you don’t do it, we will. Tomorrow is September 11. We remember September 11. On that day, Islamist terrorists committed the worst crime on American soil since the founding of the United States. We also have our September 11. We remember October 7. On that day, Islamist terrorists committed the worst crime against the Jewish people since the Holocaust. What did America do after September 11? It vowed to hunt down the terrorists who carried out that terrible crime, wherever they may be. And it also passed a resolution in the UN Security Council, two weeks later, stating that governments cannot provide sanctuary to terrorists. Well, yesterday we acted accordingly. We pursued the masterminds of terror who carried out the October 7 massacre. And we did so in Qatar, which shelters them, which provides refuge to terrorists, which funds Hamas, which gives its terrorist leaders luxurious villas, which gives them everything. So we did exactly what America did when it pursued the al-Qaeda terrorists in Afghanistan and when it went and killed Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.”

Israel attacks Hamas HQ in Qatar

Hamas leaders targeted in Doha Qatar represented nearly all of the remaining Hamas leaders. The Hamas leadership targeted in Qatar were:
1. Khalil al-Hayya – Head of Hamas in Gaza
2. Zaher Jabarin – Head of Hamas in the West Bank
3. Khaled Meshaal – Head of Hamas abroad…

The End of the Abraham Accords?

Israel believes that recognising Palestinian statehood after a horrific attack by Hamas will be construed as a reward for terrorism.

Meanwhile, UAE and Saudi Arabia decided this week that if Israel annexes territories in Judea and Samaria, withdrawal from the Abraham Accords will be on the table and will slam the door shut on the prospects of normalization between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

The Problem with the Pro-Palestine Movement

There is a problem with the Pro-Palestinian Movement. In its current form, it will do nothing for the Palestinian cause except continue to lend credence to a fanatical, death-cult like Hamas to rule over Gaza.

What changes can help realign the movement back to its original noble goal of ending conflict, elevating the Palestinian people on the ground, and improving the overall stability and prosperity of the region as a whole?

In this article, I spell out the problem in detail and provide possible solutions for genuine change-makers.

Journalist, Terrorist, or Both

The IDF eliminated Anas al-Sharif — Hamas commander, rocket planner, and Al Jazeera “journalist.”  The IDF also claimed that Anas al-Sharif used a camera as cover for promoting terror activities. The IDF investigation revealed that Anas al-Sharif directed rocket fire at civilians & soldiers. He was on the Hamas payroll, and IDF revealed that he trained in Hamas camps.
